Tommy Ngo

PT, DPT, CAFS

Tommy Ngo, PT, DPT, CAFS, graduated from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2021 after earning his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of California, Irvine in 2017. A lifelong Southern California resident, Tommy spent most of his life in Orange County before moving to San Marcos for physical therapy school in 2018, where he quickly developed a deep connection to the community and his profession.

Tommy’s passion for physical therapy began in 2009 after sustaining a compound fracture of his tibia and fibula during a football accident. Throughout his own recovery journey, he developed a fascination with rehabilitation, the human body, and the impact that skilled therapy can have on restoring independence and improving quality of life. This experience inspired him to pursue a career dedicated to helping others overcome their own physical challenges.

Tommy has been working in the physical therapy field since 2015 and has dedicated over a decade to helping individuals on their journey toward recovery. His clinical passion lies in serving the senior population and improving access to high-quality care. Through his company, he strives to bridge the gap for older adults by bringing convenient, personalized physical therapy directly into their homes.

Tommy believes that effective physical therapy combines hands-on manual therapy with purposeful, corrective exercises tailored to each individual’s goals and functional needs. His approach focuses on addressing movement limitations, improving strength and mobility, and helping patients maintain independence and a higher quality of life regardless of age.

Outside of physical therapy, Tommy enjoys spending time with his wife, Esther, and their two young daughters, Adeline and Hazel. As he takes on more of an administrative role within his company, he values the opportunity to be present with his family while continuing to support his team and community. In his free time, Tommy enjoys weightlifting, pickleball, bowling, basketball, football, and any activity that allows him to spend time outdoors with friends and family.
