What causes lower back pain?
Have low back pain? It may be caused by a herniated disc, which essentially means that a structure in your spine called the intervertebral disc may have bulged towards your spinal cord and this is typically due to trauma. You may experience extreme back pain and burning or stinging sensations that radiate into your lower extremities.
Here are some of our favorite exercises to help stretch or strengthen your core, lumbar spine, and lower extremity muscles.
Cobra Pose
The Cobra pose will decrease the pressure on your discs and help relieve pain while also stretching your abdominals and hip flexors.Superman Pose
The Superman pose will also reduce pressure on the discs and strengthen the lumbar spine and lower extremity muscles.Bird Dogs Pose
The Bird Dogs post will strengthen the lumbar spine and lower extremity muscle as well as the core. It is also great for developing better posture, movement, stability, and control of the body.
