Start Your Journey at No Limit Physical Therapy
At No Limit Physical Therapy, we are dedicated to uncovering the root cause of your condition and creating a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and goals.
Getting Ready for Your First Appointment
To make the most of your first visit, we recommend preparing in advance. Write down any questions you may have and call our office at (858) 769-6069 to verify your insurance coverage.
What to Bring:
- A valid photo ID
- Your insurance card and any necessary referrals or authorization forms
- A list of current medications, known allergies, and relevant surgical history
- Information about your medical background, prior treatments, and current symptoms or limitations
- Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows access to the area being treated—for instance, wear shorts if you’re being seen for a knee issue
We’re here to help you move better, feel better, and live better—starting with your first visit.
When to Arrive
Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This allows time to complete any remaining paperwork, get settled, and speak with our staff about any questions or concerns before your session begins.
What to Wear
- Choose comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows for easy movement and access to the area being treated.
- Athletic wear or adjustable clothing is ideal for physical therapy sessions.
- Avoid tight or restrictive clothing that may limit your range of motion.
- Wear supportive, closed-toe shoes—such as sneakers—for your safety and comfort during treatment.
What to Expect at Your First Physical Therapy Session
At your first visit to No Limit Physical Therapy, your physical therapist will perform a thorough evaluation, which includes reviewing your medical history, assessing your current condition, and examining your range of motion, strength, and movement patterns.
Based on these findings, your therapist will create a personalized treatment plan designed to address your specific needs. During this initial session, you can expect to receive an explanation of your condition, education on your recovery process, and hands-on treatment to begin relieving pain. You may also be given exercises to do at home to support your progress.
Each following session will build upon the initial evaluation to maximize your recovery and deliver lasting, meaningful results. Your physical therapist will continually reassess and adjust your treatment to ensure the best outcomes.
Open and honest communication is key. We encourage you to share any concerns or questions during your sessions—your input helps us provide the most effective and personalized care possible. We’re here to truly listen and support you every step of the way.
Our licensed therapists in Bay Ho, San Diego and Alpine, CA, will document your evaluation and treatment plan, which can be shared with any healthcare provider of your choice. During your first session, your therapist will also help you establish clear goals and determine the appropriate frequency and duration of your therapy.
Before you leave, you’ll schedule your follow-up sessions at the front desk. And if you have any questions along the way, please don’t hesitate to contact us—we’re here to help.
